Showroom The following describes how we went from the proverbial shed out back to multiple businesses that employ scores of amazing people and serve countless individuals and companies worldwide. Our mission remains constant: to help people achieve what they envision in making their own beer, wine, and/or coffee. 1995 Our company is started as Beer, Beer & More Beer™ by Olin Schultz and Darren Schleth. They purchase a few thousand dollars of supplies and Olin begins filling orders out of a 150-square-foot shed in the back of Darren’s house. From day one, we make the decision to never sell a canned beer kit based on quality—unheard of for a homebrew shop at the time. 1997 Our very first customer, Regan Dillon, retires from his corporate job and joins as a partner. Regan had a history of building all-grain brewing systems, and we begin building what he terms BrewSculptures™, some of the first commercially available all-grain systems. 1998 We outgrow the shed and garages and move into a legitimate warehouse. Chris Graham, a long-time customer, quits his job at NCR and joins as a partner to tackle our IT mess in the early days of e-commerce. 1999 We introduce the first line of stainless steel conical fermenters designed for homebrewers and change how wort chillers are made by designing them with coils at the top. 2000 – 2006 We threw an amazing millennium party, produced the first full-color homebrewing catalog, and launched MoreWine! and MoreCoffee! after developing passions for them. We incorporated as MoreFlavor!™ and split our websites for a better shopping experience. Our pro brands, MoreWinePro.com and MoreBeerPro.com, were also created. 2007 – 2015 We opened new showrooms in Los Altos and San Leandro, CA, and a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Pennsylvania to ensure 2-day shipping for 90% of our customers. We also consolidated five West Coast warehouses into a single 90,000 sq. ft. facility in Pittsburg, CA. 2016 – 2019 We launched Morebeerpro.com and Morewinepro.com as account-based wholesalers. MoreBeer! became the sole USA distributor for Viking Malt, and by 2019, 1 in 4 commercial breweries had an account with us. Morebeer.com became the most visited brewing supply site in the world. 2020 We celebrated 25 years in business! While we had to shelve our party plans, we were overjoyed to help so many people find joy in brewing while sheltering in place.
