In India, I was approached by a woman who wanted me to teach her how to make money. This encounter inspired me to research microfinance, a tool for helping women start their own businesses. I studied with Nobel Prize winner Dr. Mohamed Yunis, who pioneered poverty alleviation using microfinance. They thought this must be a difficult and unpleasant experience. However, I always thought that women in the US enjoyed dressing for themselves, and using fashion to express themselves. Two years later I returned to the US. I was watching a lingerie show, and realized those women weren’t totally wrong. This was for men’s pleasure. I was then struck with the idea of using seduction to empower women. I wanted to redirect the power of seduction to the empowerment of women using intimates.
