To fulfill my love for art I have had careers as a glass engraving artist and a decorative painter. Making my own personal jewelry started as a hobby. I loved working with beautiful gemstones, pearls and wire. The techniques, design and art of putting all these together sparked a passion that fulfilled my love for art, design, fashion and hands on! I wanted to sell my jewelry but did not want a storefront location. Starting from the big eCommerce group websites was both ineffective and unfulfilling. They have limitations on your brand and not probable your business will grow.
The game changer for me?
Selling to ladies boutiques starting in my area. My original Monogram Pendant Necklace was so well loved the owner of the boutique she invited me to do my first trunk show there. My next milestone!
Traveling to Hilton Head Island where my jewelry was to be featured at an exclusive trunk show on a golf resort island. In researching Instagram, an exquisite boutique called The Pink Pineapple, found Beauty In Stone Jewelry and knew they wanted to carry my line in their store!

Each piece is handmade in my Tennessee studio.
This is my work studio in beautiful Northeast Tennessee. My happy place where I construct each piece individually for you. Beads are hand strung, leather tassels are cut from flat cowhide of several colors and textures, and leather cuffs are original cowhide, died and finished with hand wired on stones. Circle Monogram Pendants start from square wire hand twisted and formed into my desired shape and design. My sister is a big help with the bead stringing overload! Some pieces are a time-consuming repetitive process. Being fabulous over 80 years old, she loves it and it gives her something to do. I love sharing this interest with her and it allows for a great topic of communication. In the future, I plan to employ more women like her, who are stay at home moms, need extra income or just something to do.
I offer customization to my catalog of designs, if you want special sizes, etc. other than what’s listed just let us know. Complete custom designs are welcomed as well. I want you to get excited about your new jewelry! I want you to love wearing it, sharing it and giving it!
